Review on 57 9018 FIPK Performance Intake System by Paul Lewis

I have used K&N replacement filters on my cars for many years but have never installed a cold air intake. I have to say I'm very impressed with the increased engine power this simple kit offers. Installation was mostly straightforward, the only issue I had was that some of the instructions skipped a step here or there, but if you're not too smart you can find out. Only one step really had a problem and that was because they told you to unscrew two bolts and a nut but they didn't say which nut, a bit of trial and error helped me find the right nut and that was my only problem with the installation. After two weeks of use I can report that the extra intake noise is minimal up to 3000rpm making it ideal for most driving conditions but when you want to push it up the extra sound is great and very sporty. Now another one for my wife's car.
