Review on Accurately Measure Angles And Levels With GemRed XVB Digital Gauge Level Box For Pipe Conduit by Joseph Hamilton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It’s ok but a little finicky

I got this mostly to set my table saw angle. So first off you have to lay it on the saw and zero it out for an accurate measurement. Then attach it to the blade and adjust your blade angle. What I don’t really like is that it fluctuates a lot even if you just let it sit there for a bit. My saws a little finicky about setting the angle. They made it too easy to change it so that made it harder to use this with its own fluctuations. Probably doesn’t matter in most of the work I do and the small numbers but it just seems odd. I do like it but I was surprised to find it only has a magnet on one side. For some reason I thought it would have 3 sided. But after using it, it makes sense it has just one. I got this with their angle gauge which I haven’t had the chance to use yet. I think Gem Red makes a quality tool.

Pros
  • The digital gauge level box is also durable and built to last, making it a tool you can rely on for years to come
Cons
  • The product may not work well in areas with strong magnetic fields
