This is a big step up in my online vote. I use it for conferencing, not gaming. It has a significantly lower noise level than my other USB mic (Samson). The disposable pickup's HF pattern works well and cancels out most of my laptop's fan noise when it dies during video chats. It looks good. It really delivers what the advertising promises. The only thing I don't like is the distribution of the controls. Half of these are in the front and the other half are in the back. It's really not to my liking. I want all four knobs to be on the same page so I can operate them without turning the mic and causing rumble or noise. You have to choose whether you want the volume and mute buttons to face you, or the gain and pattern selection. I think the best choice is mute and volume (for headphone monitor) for my purposes as I will most likely need to mute the mic after adjusting the gain at the beginning of the session. If I could change the groups I would put the mute and boost buttons on the front and the pattern and volume buttons on the back. Otherwise there are no complaints. Put that in the middle of my fender and it all sounds so professional.
