I mainly use continuity (cable) and length (kind of a light TDR) testers which suit my needs very well. Toner wasn't particularly impressed. The tint tube is not a traditional analog wand. It only lights up when a signal is detected, which is normal when trying to locate a wire on a punch box or patch panel. Wasn't as effective at finding a tone down the middle of a wire as if the phone lines split and went in different directions. I'll probably look for a more traditional toner.
