That sucks! If that tells you anything, I ended up using the plastics, which worked much more ergonomically. What a hassle for $8!? When installing the license plate, 2 turns of this screw and the head broke off. Yes, so I had to take a drill, drill a hole in the barrel to get the bolt shank out! They won't give me my money back for opening them even though they were complete junk and caused such a headache! Avoid buying them! What should have taken 5 minutes cost me 2 hours of my time and almost ruined my entire trunk!
