Review on 📱 Nekteck Universal Magnetic Car Phone Mount for iPhone X/8/7, Galaxy S9/S8, Pixel 3/2 XL & more – Cradle-Less Holder with Swivel Feature by Joe Greiner

I travel a lot for work and like most people, I use my phone for GPS and music in the car. I wanted to find something that would put the phone in plain sight compared to the cup holder I tucked the phone in - the cup holder works fine for audio but not when using GPS. I decided to try this mount because it looked easy to use and very compact which makes traveling really easy (ie no suction cups). Also, I liked the idea of using a magnetic connection for quick placement and quick access when exiting the car. I didn't know exactly what to expect. I figured it would either work or not - how binary is that, right? I place the record in my personal phone case (iPhone 6s plus with Speck Products CandyShell Grip Case for iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus - Black/Slate Gray). The holder holds the phone easily and securely. The mount holds tight even when driving over bumps or tight corners, and the phone doesn't slip at all. I have an iPhone 6 Plus as a work phone. I put another plate in the case of this phone (OtterBox SYMMETRY SERIES Case for iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus (5.5 inch Version) - Frustration Free Package - BLACK). This case is much thicker than Speck, so the magnetic grip isn't that strong. The mount holds the phone, but when there are big bumps or tight corners, it slips and sometimes falls off. The thicker case makes it harder to hold tight. What I haven't tried is using the sticky backing of one of the panels to mount directly to the rear sections of my suitcase. It can solve all the slipping problems I had with a thick suitcase. I also found that this mount can be very convenient even when you're not there, when I first tested it out of the box saw that it would also work well to prop the phone up or place it on the table - it is very convenient. Overall I really like this mount and would recommend it to others looking for a small easy to use mount. Especially since I have one for the car and one in my travel bag.
