Great for quick work
I made a set of 8 x 10 x 2 foot deep wall shelves out of 3/4 plywood. I didn't want to spend time cutting, milling, sanding, gluing and finishing the edges of each piece, which would probably take a day or two. So I tried this and got it done in less than an hour. Looks good for utility but I wouldn't use it for furniture or anything you need to look good. My wife had a rechargeable iron that she didn't like and it was perfect for getting the job done with no hassle. For the finishing I used a planer and sandpaper.
