I would only recommend these lights if you are only installing a light or two and not a ceiling mount. Bought 4 pcs. and 2 pieces to replace 6 recessed lights in my house. Installed and everything looked fine except 4 of them had one app version and 2 had another version and most of the time they didn't communicate with the other 4. To pair them you have to turn the lights on and off 3 times to them to put them in connection mode. Well, it doesn't work at all if one light needs to be reconnected and the others don't. They are ceiling mounted and when you toggle on/off to plug one in you turn them all off. Overall just not a great product and more of a nuisance than anything else when you have more than one light source and they're mounted on a ceiling that you can't easily access.
