Review on SOOTHING TOUCH Cedar Sage Bath by Rebecca Dillard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reasonable price, VERY strong smell

I have fairly dry skin so I use body butter as a moisturizer after my morning shower. When applied to damp skin immediately after a shower, it serves as a good light moisturizer for most of the day. The moisturizing effect usually lasts 12 hours for me. It's not as moisturizing as some lotions/creams (like CeraVe or La Roche Posay Lipikar), but it's a great lightweight option that gives your skin a nice glow. A bottle usually lasts 2-3 months, so the price is good too. However, the smell is very strong. I love the smell of cedar sage, but it's very strong and stays with you for hours (like a strong cologne). After applying the oil, several people told me that I smelled like a Christmas tree. Again, not a bad smell, but it's not a subtle scent. I find Soothing Touch Sandalwood less spicy.

Pros
  • massage oils
Cons
  • boring packaging
