After reading the reviews about the product, I decided to buy it. I'm playing around with leather right now and would rather spend a little money to try it out. When I took the pony out of the box I was pleasantly surprised. The pony, yes, could be made of the finest wood, but everything seems to be together, the adjustments are rightly placed. All fittings are present and correctly aligned, the tensioning mechanism on the outside is correctly fitted. My take on the tool kit: It's inexpensive and the other part I need is leather punches. I'm afraid that after trying teeth 1, 4 and 6 they will have a hard time cutting through jelly let alone leather. The rest of the kit is worth the money for a beginner.
