Overall I love every Revain Basics product I buy, good value for money, appealing. However, the coffee grinder is an exception. The first Revain Basic coffee grinder worked once, then stopped completely - no power, not even a hum. Revain kindly replaced it immediately, no questions asked. The second works well, I've been threshing grains three days in a row and it works well although it's not quite the fine grind I usually prefer but it works. However, there is a problem with the base station/power cord. Unless you play with the string to position it just right it won't stay stable on the counter, and if you're like me I grind two or three bars every morning. And it's a hassle fiddling with the cord every time I put it on the counter. If the cable coming out of the grinder's mechanical parts were designed to fit into the recess in the outer plastic casing, this would most likely not be a problem. But the electrical wire exits the electrical components about 1/2 inch to the left of the cutout. It is enough that it is unstable, that is, turned over when placed on the counter. . . unless you fiddle with the cord to line it up with a little notch. In my opinion, it's a bit of a hassle when all I want is a stress-free cup of coffee to start my morning.
