The photo shows this sock on my size 10 women's foot. You can see how the top accommodates my larger than average ankle, and there was plenty of stretch to spare. They are definitely non-slip. As a matter of fact, the first few steps I took almost felt like the bottoms had suction cups, lol! After walking all day around the house, they remained comfortable and did not stretch out. They also kept my feet warm without being so hot that I had to pull them off, which sometimes happens with thick socks.Much better quality than those thin fuzzy socks you get at the hospital. And they look a heck of a lot nicer as well. With slippers, depending on the style, you can be at a risk of tripping or falling. These are definitely the safest things to have on your feet. They grip the floor and they feel great.
