I thought it looked interesting when I saw this, although I wasn't quite sure how it would work. The front "button" is actually a lever that, when depressed, lifts the tray off the front rubber feet and allows you to roll it in and out on small casters. If you let go of him, he will straighten up again. In general, it rolls well and without anything it works perfectly. It's a little harder when you load it up as you're now pushing down to pick up something heavy and a little harder to pull/push while still keeping your feet off the tabletop. If you have a free second hand to pull or push, that's fine, but if you're holding a coffee cup while trying to pull out the coffee maker, things can get problematic. But basically I like it.
