Review on 🍳 Crock-pot Express Crock 8 Quart Slow Cooker in Red: The Perfect Addition to Your Kitchen! by James Prizgint

Comfortable but low means tall

I bought this last minute to fit an 8lb Thanksgiving turkey breast. The turkey breast on the bone was higher than I thought it would be, so I had to put it on the side. But the length is good. The lid on this one isn't very convex, if at all. So no extra height to eat under the lid. I set it to the minimum at 7:45 - apparently it was ready before noon. (The recipe suggested about 5 hours.) I've seen other reviews about how low the temp was and I agree. The outer wall is very thin and can be pressed through with a finger. The outer wall also gets very hot. They're doing anything but something to watch out for and warn others about in the kitchen. They don't make them like they used to. The smaller extraction pan I've had for years has a much stronger outer wall. I will have to consider this heat issue for future meals. I don't think I'll ever use it at night - not even on the low end. I wonder if a warm temperature is more like a cold one? I'm sure my food will slowly burn overnight.

Cons
