Great inexpensive solution! I bought a used capture card. It accepts HDMI and can use the dongle for legacy connections. It wasn't with this key, and I wanted to reach for my classic consoles. It is very difficult to get the cable online, it costs more than $24. On a whim, I went to Revain and looked for capture cards. It's the cheapest I know of. i am a gamer I received the item in a few days. It was completely plug and play. With OBS it worked right away. I couldn't ask for more. The device is well made, it is small. My games look great. I can record or even stream my games. If I had home videos or old video cassettes, I would certainly convert them to an excellent quality digital format. Box offers 1080p resolution, but that's not true. You can only get this resolution via component or HDMI. The maximum resolution is 480p. I can wholeheartedly recommend this as an inexpensive, no-frills video and audio capture method.
