That Windows 10 recognized and installed the driver immediately and that the picture and sound are standard, I would recommend this product for home use.

This never worked because a 2.5 inch CD cannot be played in a vertical slot CD player. There is no other way to use the hardware as this software is not available to me.

Wanted to add a security camera that I've already used for video conferencing. I also had an older version of something like this, but many programs had problems with it. This one seems to have cured it, compatible with everything I've tried so far and without the aspect ratio oddities I've seen with the old one in some cases.

But the CD contains the AmCap software which is a trial/demo version and after about 10-20 minutes of use the recording stops and you get this dialog box with 'Register' and 'Close' buttons. I have a Mac with Catalina 10.15.4 and a Windows 10 computer. Works fine on both computers, but I don't need to look for drivers to make it work on either of them. The adapter was just plug and play. I've used it for cameras connected with S-Video cables, so I didn't have a chance to test the AV input. The device itself works like a webcam. Great inexpensive solution! I bought a used capture card. It accepts HDMI and can use the dongle for legacy connections. It wasn't with this key, and I wanted to reach for my classic consoles. It is very difficult to get the cable online, it costs more than $24. On a whim, I went to Revain and looked for capture cards.
