It's a good idea, but if they were heavier they could be more effective. I tried using them on a smoothie carafe and they were pretty ineffective. Also, the little grooves on them started to wear out after a week of casual use. And be careful - they can easily slip out of your fingers or get hidden in soapy water and fall right into your possession. Wouldn't buy again unless they were heavier and maybe bigger.
