I love this lens. This is my lens for nice shots on my camcorder. However, Rokinon lenses also have a downside. Light reflections are bad for these lenses. If you want to shoot outdoors and towards a light source, you'll need to consider some sort of matte blend box. The flares aren't the prettiest, they seem to produce a haze-like flare. Otherwise they are great. UPDATE: I found a good fix for the ugly haze. Take the Promaster 77mm rubber cover. This works much better than the petal hood that comes with the lens. You will thank me for that. More protection on the sides from unwanted light, eliminates ugly haze when you don't want it.
