I had an order for a Naruto cake and wanted to make a border around the bottom of the tarte flambée and saw that this set was said to be made for fondant. Talk about disappointment! First I tried my homemade fondant and it stuck to the mold even though I powdered everything. The shape is so tiny and the flame is even smaller than the fondant stuck in it and pulls when I try to remove the shape. Then I tried a store bought fudge thinking it might just be mine and I had the same problem. Also, it's not like there isn't a "cut" at the bottom of the flame, so I made a straight cut at the bottom of my lipstick strip and placed the flame at the bottom of the strip. It was also a useless exercise. I'm sending it back. I prefer molds that you put the fondant in and then take it out - they seem to work a lot better than these!
