Ease of Use: Fondant and Noodle Molds

I only make cakes for fun. First of all I find it difficult to make a polished edge. That fixes it! It's easy to use and hides imperfections so my cakes look flawless.

Don't waste money!

Don't give your money away! The cutters themselves are very small and don't cut well, and it's almost impossible to get the fondant out of them. It was a waste of money.

Smaller than it looks

The incisors are of decent length but a bit short. The flame is the largest and is about 1-1/4 inches tall. Fondant is difficult to remove from the mold without tearing it. I think if they made them all at least 2 inches tall they would be perfect.

Mity Rain Fondant Shapes

Fondant too small and difficult to remove even after dusting with cornstarch. I didn't pay attention when ordering and assumed it was silicone. They are made of hard plastic and are very thin. They'll probably work better if I add Tylose powder to the fondant to make it firmer.

Very difficult to use and smaller than expected

I was so excited about these cake topping molds and was very disappointed! These cutters are really hard to use! Fondant gets stuck in twists and turns in waves, flames and grass. You can't slide it out the other side because it's blocked, unlike cookie cutters. You have to try to pull the lipstick out and the lipstick stretches and stretches and comes out of a different shape than it should be. The plastic is cheap so the knives arrived warped. No success trying to get usable fire

I had an order for a Naruto cake and wanted to make a border around the bottom of the tarte flambée and saw that this set was said to be made for fondant. Talk about disappointment! First I tried my homemade fondant and it stuck to the mold even though I powdered everything. The shape is so tiny and the flame is even smaller than the fondant stuck in it and pulls when I try to remove the shape. Then I tried a store bought fudge thinking it might just be mine and I had the same problem. Also…
