Review on Dimmable LED Downlight Replacement – Parmida Industrial Electrical by Eric Dailey

So far these lights have exceeded all my expectations! I installed all 12 and for the price per piece they are absolutely worth their money! They replaced some 7 year old Sylvania 3000K LED spotlights that were starting to fail. The clips that come with these mounts are not as good as the brand name clips, but they are adequate if you know how to install these types of mounts. I didn't have any trouble sitting flush with the ceiling, but I made sure the light insert was lowered to its lowest point in my ceiling so the spring clips could properly snap into the brackets. A small fist smack on the outside helped her sit up fully. The trim ring and housing are made of ABS plastic and look good when installed. Definitely they fit better than the old aluminum ones I had. They're warmer white than my old 3000Ks, which I like because I always found the old ones too blue. They are not as yellow as some might think. They appear more like incandescent in color, but are LED, so there's some downtime between cycles and you're still flashed by the ceiling fans. I have 4 of these on a Hampton Bay dimmable fan controller and they dim almost completely with no flickering! That's a lot less than my old headlights ever could! If you know how to install lighting fixtures, you will not find it difficult to install. As an enthusiastic electrician, I can definitely recommend them. Time will tell if there are any durability issues. I hope this review helps you when you try to buy it. January 27, 2019: Still working great! Not a single problem. They just work. The light turns on and off reliably. Currently used with TP-Link HS-220 Smart Switch Dimmer.
