Review on BFGoodrich g-Force Stud 215/60 R16 99Q winter by Adam Czajkowski ᠌

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

I bought this rubber after HANKOOK W429 There I didn't like how the car goes on asphalt, as if on skates. Therefore, I decided to choose something less "spiky". On asphalt, the BFG g-force rides great, as if you were riding Velcro, but as soon as the first snow fell, it became fun . The car's handling is tolerable, I seem to maneuver, I accelerate, but as soon as I hit the brakes . like on skis. I drove 300 km but the rubber "hair" has not yet flown off - a wild rumble! My viburnum climbed into the snowy hills without any problems, where heavy front-wheel drive SUVs stood and were polished in place. However, it feels like some kind of Velcro with a couple of spikes compared to the same henkook. When the weather is good outside, it's a pleasure to drive, as soon as "Armageddets" - confidence immediately disappears, especially when braking. When buying, I advise you to take this into account, and if you often have to drive in difficult conditions, then I advise you to take a "wild rose" more evil. Personally, I am satisfied with the purchase, BUT next time I will choose something between this same g-force and W429. I haven't found my golden mean yet.

Pros
  • price, good for driving on the highway, does not increase consumption. rides well on dry and wet pavement. soft
Cons
  • Wildly noisy, weak in snow, ice and other difficult conditions, especially when braking ! poorly balanced
