This is an invaluable aid for trigger points, muscle spasms and cramps. It's much easier and more effective than trying to work on yourself! It's not huge or heavy. I didn't notice much of a difference in intensity across the four speeds. It's advertised as very quiet, and mine is something like that. This may be an anomaly, but there is a slight bearing noise. But I don't know how loud other brands are. I found the instructions ridiculously inadequate and also ridiculous for being "lost in translation". You'll have to go elsewhere to find out the best way to use it. Also, there is no information about the four very different minds they provide. I also want them to provide some sort of curved head so you can work on your middle back!
