I live in Portland, Oregon. Last year the city suffered from ice storms, many people had to be rescued from cars. I bought them to keep in family cars and hopefully never use them. I ordered six. Arrived quickly, two days after ordering. I only have one open. I'm a tall man - six feet tall and over 300 pounds. Tried in a cold garage. I fit comfortably in one. When standing, I could pull the top over my head like a hood. After a few minutes I felt it getting warm. When I came back, I immediately felt the cold from the garage again. I was able to fold it, roll it up and put it back in my pocket - squeeze tight as there were air bubbles inside. I suspect it warms and saves lives in a car sheltered from the wind. We'll still be leaving extra wool blankets and some blankets in the car, but I love that we can stow these bags in the car and have them in case of an emergency. I hope I never use them in an emergency, but if I do I'll update this review.
