If you're a DIY enthusiast, this is for you! I'm not a professional mechanic, just mechanically inclined. I've been working on my cars/engines since I was 19 and became a machinist and mechanic changing large bearings on a roll laminator. Today I am 49 years old. I only mention this to provide a little background. While this is advertised as a U-joint puller, it is also a ball joint press. This is a very well made tool. I used an 800psi air blast and had no problems, my U-joints didn't come loose without a fight. This is a heavy duty clamp and the accessories included are just as strong and well built. Honestly, this article is worth every penny. The same item will cost around $140-$200 at your local auto parts store. I would make this purchase again anytime. It literally paid off on my first job. I removed the drive shaft from a '05 Ford F150 to remove both universal joints on both sides. Can I recommend this product? Definitive! I bought this puller myself and didn't get any rebate or discount for my review, I hope this helps.
