Bought these to use in a small cooler/lunch bag to chill a 6 pack whilst drinking at the park on a sunny day. These ice packs are perfect! Reason #1 I love them so much is that each of the ice packs are VERY thin so I can put one on each side of the cooler bag so I can surround all the cans (bottom, sides and top). ) to keep them cool from all sides. They were able to keep my drinks cold for hours and did a great job. . But if you use a small lunch bag or even a backpack-sized fridge to keep a small amount of food cool for a few hours, I highly recommend it.
