This is a great iPhone case with a simple fix. It's designed to hold the iPhone X with the screen facing out and works well in this mode. It holds the phone securely with the screen facing in, but the phone case's screen-side shoulder is different and sits over the hasp. As a result, the phone doesn't just slide back into the case with the screen facing in. Luckily, you can lift the lock plate to fit the screen's side arm by wrapping it with a pair of Architec stretch silicone rubber loops. Cooking Tape 2" Pack of 25 Assorted Colors (found in Cooking Section) as shown. This is a neat solution to the problem and does not reduce the reliability of the fastener. Regular chewing gum will do, but it doesn't last forever like silicone.
