Nice tool, wish this collar had more variety

Really like this collar. I wish it had an audio volume control option and it was a little cheaper for the distance. However, for what I use it for, it works very well. Efficiency: I actually only use the sound option and my dog responds very well to it. I mainly use it as a storage medium. If she barks everywhere I don't want to go all the way to her to stop, but as soon as she hears that beep she stops immediately and returns to the front porch of the house. She "barks angrily," so it's hard to get over her mania once it starts. I will yell at her and she won't stop until I yell 3-5 times. A beep from that and her ears drop and she walks to the porch very quickly. If she is in a super high it may take 2 signals. She's half duty, half hunting dog, so she's very stubborn and barks in a deep, roaring voice. It has a very light bass sound. The fact that this collar will stop them within 1 beep 95% of the time is amazing. But to be precise about the collar, I also say that my dog is very well behaved. Her only problems are barking and a bit nervous/protective. To give context, she was with me the other day and a random lady walked into our garden. This dog started barking very hard as soon as he heard a woman's voice. A very strong "SIT" from me got her butt planted and all the barking stopped. Very quick response from her but if I remembered to take the remote outside it would be much quicker and less stress on my vocal cords. :PI also use it when riding my horse. My dog is very good at holding on to me, too good as he has almost been kicked many times, but if we encounter another dog, human or horse I want him to come over to me immediately, twist his ass. , and wait without shouting if people, dogs, or horses are unfriendly. This collar lets you do just that. She can be very protective of people and overly friendly with dogs, but a quick beep will remind her to let her mother say so. This is great because I can correct them and most people don't hear the beep making my dog look even more trained than he really is! It's also useful when cars drive by. I can call her back to the horse and wait for the danger to pass. Area: Our home sits on 2 acres, 1 acre around the home is fenced for dogs and another acre for horses. Both acres are almost perfectly square. With no walls in the way, I can stand at one end of the property and the horn works *almost* at the other end of the property (over 2 square miles, just 20 feet less. As long as I'm inside, When they're in the yard with the dogs I can usually signal her successfully.Sometimes after I honk her horn I'll get up and walk to the nearest window. Most of the time she's already stopped and our other dog is still barking so I'd like to make sure she's not is because our neighbor only cares about her barking and not the other dog Battery life: So far so good I've only charged it once since buying it 2 months ago and it wasn't because the battery was dead but simply because my roommate was nice and calculated my stuff for me.All in all, I wish this company offered a cheaper option, just with tone correction and a wide radius of action.Never had to shock them, but i tried it once She completely ignored it. Haven't tried it on a beach with water yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do. I really think it would be great for a lot of different dogs if you trained them properly with electric shocks (if needed) and weaned them off the horn. If he can break through my Pithound's crazy bark, he can break through anything (with the right training)!
