I've never had this kind of difficulty switching out drawer knobs before. These required a trip to the hardware store and even then, it was difficult to find screws that would work. These knobs come with two sets of screws, both of which were too short to fit through my (perfectly normal, average) kitchen drawers. I had to go to a specialty hardware store that carried so-called metric screws. I don't know where these knobs were made, maybe China? Not compatible with our systems here, in any event. Also, while the knobs themselves look OK, the metal part inside is sloppily inserted. I've made them work but I really can't recommend them.
