I purchased this collar for my shepherd mix girl dog. I fit the collar so that I could get two fingers width easily (same as I have done for 30 years). What I did not realize was that where the collar was folded over and stitched, it was a rough edge. In just a few days, the collar managed to pluck the hairs out on her throat. It's a bald spot a little bigger than a half dollar size. I didnt see it until I popped the collar off for a grooming session. Thinking of it hurting her, and me not knowing about it breaks my heart. My other dog had the same collar as well but I've replaced his, too. 😡
