I bought this roll to line up my fridge's glass shelves because the roll is wide enough to only use one piece per shelf, and the ribs are still aligned front to back (to make it easier to put items in and out without scratching the glass). The product has no noticeable exhaust smell, lays flat without sticking (so I can pull it out later for a thorough cleaning), cleans fairly easily (note the small bits that can get stuck to the base of the fin). It's transparent enough to let light down to the bottom shelf when I'm searching for seldom used perishables. Plus, it's made in the USA, BPA-free, and theoretically recyclable (if you have access to a recycler that accepts LDPE #4 without a mark), and it comes in a 20-foot roll long enough to to cover three fridge shelves and still enough to outfit a few more cabinets. It's only been up for a month, but so far it's working as I hoped.
