This is polyester microfiber, not silk!
These pillowcases are beautiful and have a silky feel. I couldn't figure out why I kept getting pimples on my face until I finished doing the laundry. According to the description they are silk satin, but they are made of polyester microfiber. As a result, they don't breathe and allow air to flow around your face while you sleep. I went back to my 600 100% cotton thread.
