Works great, but tends to ride too high
Works great, but tends to ride too high, causing the bike to ride too low on the bike rack. That doesn't mean the bar is defective, there's just nothing to keep the front end of it from sliding all the way up to the handelbars. I cure the problem by wrapping a bungee cord around the bar and the bike frame underneath it, effectively holding the bar in its (proper) lower position. Not a big deal at all.
- Hangers are vinyl-coated to prevent damage to the bicycles
- Can cause damage to your car's paint or bodywork during transport
