The best coffee maker I've ever bought!

Great Little Coffee Maker! I have 12 ounces. It makes good coffee, easy to clean, no coffee grounds, works with almost any coffee, double mesh filters, no disposable filters, durable and cheap. I even washed it in the dishwasher with no problems. Great alternative to Kcup manufacturers. I bought this because it has two filters and is almost entirely made of glass and metal. The only plastic part is the spout blocking piece and the silicone ring at the bottom. It's really easy to clean. I just pick it up after each use, set it in front of a fan to dry, and run it in the dishwasher every few weeks. So far no signs of rust or wear on anything, I expect it to last for years before I drop it. I highly recommend this, it's a huge improvement over expensive electronic devices that don't last long. I use it with a kettle, so it's just as convenient and quicker than many electric coffee makers. For some reason the kettles never seem to fail, the one I use is over 10 years old and I believe it's $30 for Hamilton Beach, although I don't think I've ever had an electric coffee maker that even has one Has lasted $200+ the year. So the idea of a coffee maker that runs almost indefinitely as long as you don't break the glass or crush the filters seemed great, and this little French press works really well so far. .I know most French journalists won't like it, but I don't grind my coffee. I guess I'm not a coffee connoisseur, I've used 8 different types of regular ground coffee and so far none of them had ground coffee in them, so I think the two screens work really well. I liked everything, but I'm not picky. So ignore everything on the internet that says you have to grind your own coffee beans in a French Press. Maybe better, but not necessarily. The taste of the coffee is really different than filter coffee machines, better in my opinion but also stronger so you may need to adjust the amount of coffee grounds used or even change the type or brand of coffee to get the right result. Use one of these before simply adding a few tablespoons of ground coffee to the coffee maker, pour boiling water over it, close the lid with the plunger up, set the timer for about 3.5 minutes, and then slowly press the plunger down for more 30 seconds and done. You can steep longer, steep more aggressively, or stir in the ground coffee at the beginning to make it stronger. Conversely, you can use less coffee, cooler water or a shorter time for weaker coffee.
