Material is soft and stretches slightly, but feels very plasticky and overly synthetic. As for homewear, I would hope for a cotton feel. If you have sweatshirts with the same designs, then it's the same material (it seems like a factory in China prints the same designs, and then they're all resold by different sellers). Advice for buying a size up might be: OK, but I think it would be a good idea to buy the size you expect. I bought size XL as I usually wear L in clothes and it's a bit big. It would be nice if the waist had elastic, but it isn't. Unless the drawstring is pulled very tight, the pants tend to fall down every time I sit down. It would be better if the length between the inseam and the waist was longer. The graphic print is more or less as expected, but a bit washed out.
