I'll start with the negatives first. The clasp is magnetic, so if you drop it there's a chance it will pop open. The memory cards fit well, but I expect some of them to fall out when this happens. Also, the top and bottom are not flat, so it won't lay flat on the table. It doesn't matter, but it seems to be taking up a little more space than it really needs. The benefits are great. It has a clip that I use to attach it to my travel backpack. Again, because of the magnetic closure, I'm concerned that I might bump it against something and pop it open, but I put it in the water bottle compartment underneath and clip it in place. while it works fine. The case also comes with a USB reader for SD and microSD. I tested it and it works fine. I'm not sure about the speed of the UPS (2.0? 3.0? 3.1?), but it didn't matter with the slower microSD cards I use for projects. There's also a SIM card ejector, but I'm not sure when I'd be lugging around a bunch of SIM cards. I look forward to using it on my travels.
