Review on πŸ“Έ Godox V860II-N Wireless Flash Speedlite for Nikon DSLR with LCD Display and X System Flash Light by Agung Casanova ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

Once again I was convinced that every thing is worth its money. For many years I have been using a set of two Nikon SB 700. As they say, grief with them did not know. But I needed a third and more powerful one. I decided to save money by buying Godox, which is praised by everyone, with a lithium battery. It discharges as quickly as a set of 4 Nk. Charging is really faster (it saves) Synchronization works disgustingly and this is the biggest disappointment, because it let me down more than once at a crucial moment, and this is unacceptable for professional equipment! That is, it is not possible to connect it to the Godox transmitter X1 every time, and then somehow through one place. The guide number is like 60. Yeah I wanted a more powerful flash than the Nikon SB 700, which has a leading 38. But in fact there is no difference. It's annoying. Uneven illumination even at the widest position of the zoom head. Only the diffuser corrects the position, but this is minus 2 steps. Again, in comparison, vignetting at 24mm is about the same as Nikon's at 35mm. Menu navigation and ergonomics of seven buttons of the same shape sometimes confuses, but you can get used to it. At Nikon, each function has its own button or switch shape (hard to confuse one with the other) Summarizing, I would like to say that I would have thought well of taking it as the main flash for reporting. Perhaps my copy has a buggy synchronizer. Check right away.

Pros
  • Good build. Nothing backlashes. Fast charging lithium battery. There is a charge level indicator. Price
Cons
  • Poor synchronization with native Godox transmitter X1. Does not correspond to the declared power Discharging the battery at the level of nickel-cadmium Uneven illumination Ergonomics of menus and buttons No color filters and cap included

About a personal flash, no problems with batteries, charged and forgot, if not enough, buy a second unit.

Its pros: Quite powerful flash. Holds a charge for a long time. Good build quality. Some cons: If only on trifles, and so nothing critical.
