The birds say no! for food

I got this because it wasn't litter, but the birds generally refuse to eat it. Looks like it's mostly corn. So I went back to the cheap dirty bird seed store and they are happy again.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Crumpled wrapper

Great seeds but much cheaper elsewhere!

I like this pure birdseed. So are the birds. Too bad they increased the price for large bags. Was a regular customer before the price increase. Now cheaper at Home Depot.

birds love it. good for eating

Many birds love this seed because it goes with everything: shelled peanut halves, sunflower seeds, corn kernels, millet. There's also no husk from the seeds, meaning there's no waste or mess.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • socket required.

Delicious but very messy

The birds love it but I think I figured "no waste" meant I wouldn't lose half the seeds in the ground. I even have a feeder with tiny holes to prevent this. Unfortunately the birdseed covered my patio floor the next morning.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons

Near Excellent - Birds

This wild bird seed definitely contains less litter than most, but I was still a bit disappointed when I saw how much ground corn was in the feed. All they did was lure squirrels to the bird feeders. Overall it's way better than the other options!

Cons
  • Some Faults

Warning, obviously attracts PROTEIN (nuts/sunflower)

I stupidly got this due to the low amount of waste without considering the presence of protein attracting nuts and sunflower seeds. Warning - do not use near trees or houses. While my parrot found the squirrel show exciting, we hoped the little birds would entertain them ;) I quickly replaced the safflower and nayera seeds which the squirrels obviously don't like (fingers crossed).

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

The birds love what makes it messy.

Birds love it, we see lots of house and purple finches, juncos, redpolls and even northern flickering from time to time. They don't throw it away on purpose like they do with cheap seeds full of fillers, but now they're vying for space on the tube and making the same mess. Ground-eating birds help to clean up, but it's still enough to sweep daily, and therefore change more often. At $20 for Β£5 it's not great value but the fun factor for me and the cats makes up for it a bit.

  • Quality Construction

Birds don't eat it best in their feed

I've just received this seed because the one I usually ordered wasn't available. There's not a lot of bird seed in there. It looks like it's mostly ground dry corn. Birds don't eat it. My garden is usually full of birds that come to eat the seed, but the seed is in the same container and just sits there. You won't eat it. Small birds will not eat it. Big birds don't eat it. You have to throw the whole bag away. It's disgusting that they sell it and call it birdseed because birds don't eat it…

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • So So

Nothing but bird droppings

I absolutely cannot recommend this product. In fact, I have to say that native birds do not recommend this product. Prior to this seed in the feeder, I had a different seed mix that the birds seemed to like, to the point that I was quickly running out. I have no idea why this seed isn't a hit. It doesn't even come close. Hardly anyone signed up to take part. If that's not a red flag then I don't know what is. I don't claim to know birds, but I must be pretty stupid not to get the hint. I…
