Don't waste money!

Almost $50 per bag. However, there are practically no granules in this bag. This crap is mostly powder. Very disappointing.

Girls love birds

Our chickens are healthy, growing and laying lots of delicious eggs. When they roam our territory, that's all they eat. Sometimes they are treated with mealworms.

Pros
  • Giving joy
Cons
  • Appearance

50% food powder

I ordered this product and 50% of the pallets were powder. I paid way more for this product than I normally pay for pallets at my local pet food store. I only ordered this product because my store didn't have my normal product. I wouldn't buy this again.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing here

Full of worms. about food

We opened the bag and the first thing we noticed were the cobwebs all around. Then we saw little white worms in the corners and finally realized the food was full of them. Will come back and avoid this brand in the future.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Mold feed is the best for birds

I received this 30 lb bag of organic laying hen feed on the 29th March. Today I opened the bag to feed my chicks and found clumps/clumps of moldy feed (see photo). Since I received the package it has been kept in the trial/internal room similar to what I do with the regular food I receive (I've never had this problem with my other groceries). I am very disappointed in this product as I have to throw away the meal I paid $60 for!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great feed but expensive

Our chicks love it. Before switching to these laying hen pellets, one of our hens laid softer eggs. And both had slightly lighter eggs. The eggs are now a rich brown color and the eggshells are hard. The only thing that bothers me is the price. 2X more expensive than buying them individually and the large bag costs more per pound than the smaller one. I only have 3 chickens. But if I had more, the economy wouldn't work very well.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Shorter cord than other feeds

Disgusting, bug infested, a total waste of money and non refundable

Received my order this morning, no holes, no visible signs of tampering. I cut open the packaging (which was supposed to have a production or expiration date but didn't) and it was infested with bugs. Like more bugs than food. Absolutely disgusting and unforgivable. Husband sealed it and threw it away. I won't even return this spoiled meal that I wouldn't even leave on the side of the road. NEVER AGAIN.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Doubtful

Pullet pellets

My Myrtle hen ate powdered chick feed. I've tried to get her to eat these pellets but she won't. So I grind them up into a powder and she likes it, she'll eat it later. Lots of work but I love this girl and if this product lives up to the mark she should lay some good eggs when she gets a little older. Let's take a look. Maybe I can even get her to eat those pellets if she's older too? I believe in wonder. That's how I came to Myrtle. One day I noticed that one of the cats had something in its…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some little things
