Review on 🔌 AIMS Power PICOGLF25W12V120AL Green 2500W Inverter Charger: Efficient 12VDC to 120VAC Power with Transfer Switch by Nap Olivas

I used this on my boat. Automatically switches to shore power when available. My battery pack is still small so it probably has double or even triple the charge I currently need, but I'm hoping to add to it. The biggest downside to this device is that the instructions call for #0/4 wiring, which is huge and expensive. Because of this, I would choose a smaller unit that uses #0/2 instead. I have upgraded my alternator to 130 amp high output and it works fine with refrigeration, coffee maker and auxiliary bilge pump, tv, wet vacuum, power tools etc with no power. Since we only have a battery with a capacity of about 90 Ah (45 Ah for safe use). We switch off all unnecessary loads and so far our battery has never been discharged to the point where the inverter automatically switches off. The power saving mode doesn't seem to work well with phantom loads (like a TV on standby for remote control), so you'll either need to disable that circuitry, disable those elements, or go for normal inverter mode. The overall performance was excellent. The device is so quiet that we only hear it when we sit on the seat under which it is installed. Features and performance make it very valuable at the moment.
