Technical Support Issue

I have contacted Aims about my warranty. I spoke to the person who started the return process of the inverter but I have not heard back from them. Can someone contact me as my warranty is about to expire?

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Corrupted

Spend a little more for a better inverter and save yourself a headache

Used for 3 months straight then problems started. They would only take it for repairs but I'm completely offline so I couldn't be without power for 2-3 weeks. I had to buy Victron. You should have done that first.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality

STAY AWAY! of jump starters, chargers and portable power supplies

I'm a cheapskate and a slow learner. I am using my second AIMS charger/inverter. The first died a few days after the warranty expired. The second still works as an inverter, but the charger had to be replaced with a separate device (ProMariner). Now I have a working system but I will replace the inverter whenever it decides to die.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Minor problems

Вы читали ужасные истории о некоторых инверторах AIMS, но после разговора с парнем, имеющим хороший опыт работы с двумя разными инверторами, я решил попробуй That. It has been installed and running in my RV for a few days. It works (one by one) air conditioning, microwave and hair dryer quite well. For a 2500W inverter with an 80Amp charger and automatic switching, this is a good value.

  • Работа без помощи рук

Defect arrived!

The device is installed but it doesn't work. After talking to AIMS tech, really helpful people! Completed in non-working condition and sent back, love the idea of the product and how it works, wait for a refund receipt from the seller and replace it. We will update as soon as we get a working block. Updated 07/13/20. So far no refund for the device or message to send a replacement. Customer service? Will continue to be updated. Dissatisfied!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

In practice, there is no guarantee coverage.

Charging function failed after 6 months warranty period. What they don't tell you about warranty coverage is that you are responsible for all shipping costs, both for sending in the old device and getting a replacement device. The shipping costs are almost 1/3 of the device price. It just doesn't make sense to force your customers to contact tech support who determines the device is faulty to get an RMA and also provide all the documentation to prove the devices are still under warranty stand…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Useless functions

Check wire gauge requirements before ordering a larger unit.

I used this on my boat. Automatically switches to shore power when available. My battery pack is still small so it probably has double or even triple the charge I currently need, but I'm hoping to add to it. The biggest downside to this device is that the instructions call for #0/4 wiring, which is huge and expensive. Because of this, I would choose a smaller unit that uses #0/2 instead. I have upgraded my alternator to 130 amp high output and it works fine with refrigeration, coffee maker and…

Pros
  • Durable finish

  • Discontinued

Ideal for Zoeller N53 AC drain pump!

I bought a low-frequency inverter just to run a Zoeller N53 1/3HP submersible pump on an AGM 92AH battery (inductive load). The Zoeller N53 submersible pump draws 26 AC amps when starting (less than per second) and 9.7 AC amps during operation. The AIMS 2500 handles the Zoeller N53 start with no problem as the AIMS 2500 specification is 7500W for 3 seconds which is much more than the 2860W (26A AC x 110V) required to start the Zoeller N53 . ). While the drain pump was running on the AGM…

Not quite what I expected but nice.

Let me start by saying this is a very well built device and works well if you can live with how it works. I bought this to replace the smaller Aims I had in my RV. I compared the instructions for my smaller device and it was worded the same as the instructions for this device, although the principle of operation is quite different. I read both manuals before buying this one, thinking they were the same. I never had to pay attention to the smaller Aims block. The only time I turned it on was…

  • Good product for the price
