The bracket comes with a special circle to attach the suction cup when the dashboard is textured. The suction itself is sticky, which is very helpful. The magnets are very strong but work best outside of the case (though if the case is thin enough the magnet will work when attached to the back of the phone). The mount itself is very strong and I'm not worried about it breaking. It comes with three different magnets so I plan on keeping these in case I get a new phone and need a new case, but you can remove the magnets from the case. Would definitely buy again or for a friend. So it's worth buying.
