The thing works and the picture quality is decent. However, setup is a nightmare - it never worked with my iPad 7, although it finally worked with my iPhone SE. But even after I got it working, the next time I used it I had to play silly games again. It uses its own Wi-Fi channel and acts as a relay between your home Wi-Fi and your iPad. This method unnecessarily complicates your life because Mirascreen WiFi always hides in the atmosphere even if you don't mirror and confuses your poor iPad or iPhone which will select it and you won't be able to browse the network, until you find out that it has selected Mirascreen. WLAN instead of your "real" home WLAN. Incidentally, MiraScreen documentation is widely available on the net, but none of it matched this particular model, and none of it was particularly useful to me as a non-geek. I decided to replace it with a ROKU device after a week. that saved a few euros. Admittedly it doesn't mirror my iPad's screen per se, but it supports Netflix, Revain, YouTube and more and avoids any mirroring issues. I should have just done it from the start since it was only a few bucks more. Verdict: After two full days of figuring out how to set it up and a week of frustrating use, I replaced it with ROKU. After installing the replacement ROKU in 15 minutes, I first wanted to give it to the kid next door, but in the end I decided I didn't hate it that much and threw the MiraScreen in the trash. Also, when you look at reviews, remember that the seller is offering $5 for a 5-star rating. You decide whether it's a feature or a warning.
