These jobs require some patience. Tips below

Despite bad reviews, they work. I hand soldered the 5050 LED strips so I have some assembly experience. There are some installation tips. (I used TP Link Kasa Waterproof Tape Lighting Version (KL400L5) WIRE SIDE1) Each connector has two sides. If you look closely, one side has plastic channels (the longer side) while the shorter side doesn't. 2) Make sure you fold the covers back so you can fully insert the cables, they can bend a little less than 90 degrees 3) Make sure you pull the cables about 1 inch from the side keep ends away (cut off tips slightly and straighten back.4)! Make sure you are looking at the LED strip and you have the +12v line with the black wire. KEEP IT CONSISTENT. If you don't, you'll shorten your streak. (Hold the connector to the pole under the cabinet and make sure everything is aligned. 5) Insert the wires and gently pinch, making sure each wire is seated in its channel 6) When everything is in Alright, press firmly (I used the handles of my scissors, close one tab and then another.) If that doesn't work, the wire may have come out too far. I had a bad plug but the rest was fine. SIDE OF LEDS 1) I used these for the under cabinet lights, when attaching the strips leave 2-3 inches for the padding and enough room for the wires to bend on either side of the bend. .2) Attach the LED strip but leave 8" of paper and ends (allows some slack to attach the connector comfortably 3) Make sure you only attach to copper pads, solder joints won't work so you'll have to do it Reposition to make it work Plan it (cut the strips as evenly as possible4). When you are ready to attach the connector, remove the adhesive and insert it into the hole. Take the time to make sure things line up. Press firmly (make sure both tabs are locked) MISCELLANEOUS 1) I installed by connecting the first LEF limiter to the power supply and controller. (First section only) 2) I attached the connectors on both sides for the full length of the cable 3) After unplugging the power cord, I attached it with one side to the mounted LED strip and the rest to my rack (MATCH+ 12V!) 4) I plugged it back in to check. 5) If it works properly. Disconnect and snip enough wires so you can easily connect the next section, with an extra inch in case you make a mistake. 6) Connect and check after each section. How does it help. It's a good product, but the learning curve is steep.
