I should have listened to the reviews about the smell

Before I buy any products I look for bad reviews to see if there is a consensus on any downsides that come with the product. The smell was the downfall of this product. But I thought, hey, to each their own. Maybe it's just a unique smell and as long as it has the right hold I'm looking for I can tolerate it. This product has a very pungent and sour odor that can only be described as rancid with hints of mango. I gave 2 stars because it was close to the cargo space I was looking for, but at what cost?
