Review on Melissa Doug Magnetic Anatomy Storage by Jayshawn Cuatlayol

I was homeschooling my kids and it was the perfect addition to our anatomy department. My oldest uses a soft bowel model and we bought this magnetic "toy" from Melissa and Doug for our four year old who we go to preschool for. lesson works! This is a toy that we will come back to many times to cover all the different systems. I chose it because it's anatomically correct and I needed an age-appropriate way to talk about male and female body parts. As others have mentioned, this needs a lid! Serious! I'm thinking of getting a letter basket so we can position it horizontally so we don't lose detail and still make the most of the space. So we can use the other slots of the letter tray to hold other similar wooden toys and puzzles without a lid. I'm also wondering if Melissa and Doug's wire rack holder would work for this. I might consider getting it. If this review was helpful, please leave a thumbs up. It can only accommodate jigsaw puzzles up to 3/4 inch thick. The anatomical puzzle is about 1-1/8" thick. I measured. I still haven't found the perfect storage solution. They must come with a lid 😑 It's been a few years since this purchase and we've managed, with all of them Keeping up even after we've moved across country. But we've had a few short calls. My then 4 year old is almost 6 now and still uses it. I'm 2 years 2 months old now so he's still getting many Receive benefits so I'm still wondering what's the best way to store it once it's put away I can stuff it in a tall clear shoebox container from The Container Store (for $5) but only if I really need it I've never had a letter basket to store because it doesn't meet my need for a lid.. So for now a shoebox from The Container Store will do, and when it's in use it just sits on a book herregal (Montessori style).
