I've been changing the straps on my Ionic Fitbit for a few years. I was disappointed with how often they break (usually within two to four months). So last time I decided to buy a very expensive direct from Fitbit ($70!). First off, it doesn't look better or worse. than this cheap one. Second, they only lasted two months. The problem is a design flaw in attaching the Ionic watch to the strap. The specific behavior I do that breaks bracelets is that I wear brown for housework and outside of work. If you lie on the floor and lean heavily with your hand on the area where pressure is being applied to the band, the connectors will break. My recommendation: If you're not willing to buy another version of the Fitbit watch ($250-$300!), the straps are going to snap. With the same success, you can order cheap ones, because expensive ones are absolutely no better.
