Review on 🌬 Syrinx Cooling Weighted Blanket 15lbs, Dark Grey Queen Size for Adults - Stay Cool and Sleep Better with this Soft Heavy Blanket by Jeff Callier

This quilt feels much smaller than a queen quilt. My first impression was HEAVY. It's 15 pounds but I didn't realize how heavy it is for a duvet. When the weight was evenly distributed, everything was perfect. At first I would have given this blanket 5 stars. The cloth is like a blanket and has no magic cooler. Other reviews and the title suggest this blanket will keep you cool in my opinion, but if you have trouble getting under a regular blanket easily, you'll have trouble with this one. The fabric is on the thinner side and isn't as damn a heat trap as a mink blanket. I like the fabric, although it's "soft" and durable. Over time, after about 2 months, my blanket stopped distributing the weight evenly. Almost the entire weight of the blanket has shifted to the sides and corners. It's still a heavy blanket, but not where it should be, so it just doesn't feel heavy enough. The weight in the duvet is like sand and although the seams are quite tight and spaced all over the duvet to keep the weight in a small square as it should be, the grains of sand still slip through and don't stay where they should . I washed my comforter which means it can be washed and my washing machine washed it with no problem. I think that washing it caused the weight to go in the wrong places faster than not washing it. This duvet is also smaller than a queen size duvet. I haven't measured, but I suspect it won't measure correctly. I paid an insane price like everyone who bought this blanket hoping it would work well but it didn't. If the weight had stayed in the right places I would have been totally in love with this duvet, but I'm not.
