Great portable DVD drive!
Drive works great. It is very thin and easy to carry. The way the USB is built in and can be hidden under a drive for storage is very nice. This is a small USB cable, so you may need an extension cable if you need to move the drive away from the machine for any reason. I don't need it so the small cable works fine. The drive worked out of the box on both my MacBook Pro and Windows 10 PC with no drivers/software to install. A NOTICE. I haven't checked the disc's recordable properties as I don't need a burner. With everything else working fine, I assume the recording functionality will be the same.
