I was looking for good treads for my van treads that didn't look and feel cheap. I bought several types and the rug looked like cheap felt with some opacity and two grommet holes that could be attached with thin metal springs. Not this one. It's not cheap! The 3 I need for my steps cost over $60 to buy but they are very good and have a thick rubber base and detach with velcro. I guess I spent so much money on my camper why skimp on steps? I only bought the top as it gets the least dirty. I might keep the cheap ones and change them regularly as they get very dirty. My old van had a step and when you have dogs and rain and dirty wet feet these things come in handy so I decided to just buy a nice top step. I wish they were cheaper but then again they are very very good!
